Hey guys.
Day 2 is here.
So I’m still not sure how to include a video in this. I’ve made one on the laptop but when going to the media file on this, it isn’t on the computer file. I’ve started one on Tumblr but this one is so much less faff it makes it easier :).
The first thing I want to is thank Regina and the girls in the webinar the other day, with trying to get into blogging I kinda forgot in day 1, sorry girls :P. So thank you for the help in this 21 day challenge.
So day two’s topic is end goal, how do I want to help others and how will my ideas help others.
I feel like I covered the main plots of that in Day 1, more information is needed I agree but teach a man to fish and all that :P. So I think I’ll talk about how these ideas came to be and why.
As mentioned in day 1, I’ve known for a while that I want to be a mountain guide, mainly because of where I grew up, but what made me decide it was for me?
The photo I’ve used in the header is a photo of me with others from the London Adventure group when we did the 11 day hike of the Tour Du Mont Blanc in September 2014. This hike is something that many achieve as it’s a very touristy hot spot, but it was my first major hike. 11 Days on my feet, covering a distance of about 120 miles. With over 6 miles of decent and ascent. Covering this distance at my own pace took me away from the group majority of the day, some may say that it was very antisocial, but I felt that as the mornings and evenings was spent with the group, the day time was my time. Time where I could think, feel at peace, feel apart of nature and just take in all the surroundings, I mean come on, who wouldn’t feel amazed in this scene…..

This I believe was day two of the Mt Blanc hike. Anyway most of the time you bump into random people, and sometimes you slow down or speed up to their pace to have a bit of a chat. I love other nationalities, I’m one of those weirdos that like to tick off a nationality I’ve met. Being so proud of being Welsh and being proud of what culture we have left, I find other cultures fascinating, I’m always eager to learn how others do things and why. The wild is one of the only places where you can have mixed nationalities without it having to be about politics, which these days, isn’t always the best scenarios.
This is why I want to start a business of making it easy for people to travel to areas across the beautiful places the world has to offer. The chance to meet others from different backgrounds. Trekking is when I feel at home, and I know that a lot of others feel the same. Easy and affordable access to these places will allow people to let off steam without having to break the bank and very much so in today’s life, save time.
Travelling taught me a lot, respect others no matter your opinion, you never know the reasons until you ask.
